Our Story
Rise N Grind Collectibles started as a simple hobby between the two of us.
After getting back into Pokémon cards recently, we realized how fun it is to open packs, chase cool artwork, and slowly build complete sets. What started with a few booster packs quickly turned into binders, sleeves, and a growing collection.
We created this site to document the journey and share what we’re learning along the way.
We’re not a big store or a professional card shop. We’re just collectors who enjoy the hobby and want to help other people get into it without feeling overwhelmed.

What You’ll Find Here
On Rise N Grind Collectibles we share things like:
• beginner guides for new Pokémon card collectors
• explanations of sets, rarities, and chase cards
• tips for storing and protecting your collection
• strategies for completing sets without overspending
• our own experiences opening packs and building binders
If you’re new to collecting, our goal is to make the hobby easier to understand.
Why “Rise N Grind”?
The name comes from the idea that collecting is a process.
Some mornings start with coffee and checking card prices. Other days are spent opening packs, organizing binders, or hunting down the last few cards needed to complete a set.
Collecting is a grind — but it’s a fun one.
Where This Blog Is Headed
Right now we’re focused mostly on Pokémon card collecting.
As the site grows, we plan to share more things like:
• pack opening experiences
• card show visits
• collection progress updates
• beginner resources for new collectors
And who knows — maybe one day even a vendor table at a card show.
Follow the Journey
If you’re also getting into Pokémon card collecting, you’re in the right place.
We’re figuring things out as we go — and sharing what we learn along the way.
